DAHS Would Like to Acknowledge
The Traditional Owners of the lands and waters that constitute Derby and surrounding communities. We proudly recognise these lands to be under their ongoing custodianship, and the continuing connection of all First Nations people to land, water, culture and community. We pay our respects to our Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their role in keeping our communities strong and connected. We would also like to acknowledge and celebrate the many passionate, dedicated and skilled First Nations staff at DAHS, and their role in leading an Aboriginal Medical Service that provides culturally safe care
