Our Services

Derby Aboriginal Health Service (DAHS) delivers comprehensive, culturally safe primary health care for Aboriginal people across Derby and the West Kimberley.

Our approach recognises that health is more than physical wellbeing. We care for the social, emotional and cultural wellbeing of individuals, families and communities, providing support across the whole of life.

We offer a wide range of local health services, supported by visiting specialist clinics. This ensures our clients can access the care they need close to home, without having to travel far from family and community. Visiting specialists support areas such as mental health, allied health, cardiology, renal care, podiatry and other specialist services.

Our core services include everyday primary care such as general practice, chronic disease management, maternal and child health, and men’s and women’s health. Alongside this, we deliver health promotion and prevention programs that support people to make informed choices and live longer, healthier lives.

In addition to clinic-based care, we provide regular outreach services to seven remote communities across the West Kimberley. This helps ensure essential health care remains accessible to Aboriginal people throughout the region, no matter where they live.
