Leaving Violence Program

The Leaving Violence Program is a government-funded initiative designed to support people leaving violent intimate partner relationships.

Derby Aboriginal Health Service (DAHS) supports community members to access this program through our Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) team. Two Leaving Violence Program case workers are available to assist clients with information, eligibility and completing their applications.

To find out more about the program and how to apply, visit our Leaving Violence Program page.

Need support to take the next step?

The Leaving Violence Program can provide financial and practical support to help people leave a partner who uses violence.

DAHS acts as a referral and support pathway for the program. Our case workers assist eligible clients with their applications and help connect them with the support they may need during this transition.
